October 2011 - Vision Team Nicaragua
Mission Team Inc is in a new Partnership with Prayer Partners International to help establish the House of Prayer in Haulover Nicaragua. Oct 3 - 8 Scotty with Chris Garrett (Board member of MTI) and Rosemary Chatfeild from PPI will be in Nicaragua to establish this work.
November 2011 - Burnt Hickory Construction Team
The work of Storm damage from this years deadly tornados continues in Alabama and Georgia. Burnt Hickory Baptist is planning its annual Construction trip Nov 18 - 23 to aid victims of the storms in northern Alabama.
January 2012 - Nicaragua Construction Team
Tenative plans are to work on the House of prayer for construction of sleeping quarters in an existing structure. Bathroom and Kitchen additions and completion are also a part of this work. Exact date will be set soon. Tenative cost: $1250.00
March 2012 - Lesotho Africa MEDICAL / Construction / teaching TEAM
Mission Team Inc is planning now to carry a Medical Brigade to the Maluti Mountains in March of 2012. Enlistment begins in June of 2011. Village clinics, Lay out and beginning the construction of a rock church building as well as BTCP teaching will all be taking place near Katsee Village in central Lesotho. Tenative Cost of this trip is $2950.00
April 2012 - Fairbanks Alasksa - ARTIC MAN EVENT
The event of Artic Man Competition brings 15,000 people to a isolated an barren mountain area for the 4 day event. Operation of a prayer / evangelism ministry has the potential to reach hundereds of people for Christ. Invitation Only Trip.
June 2012 - Builders for Christ - Location TBD
The 28th annual Noonday Baptist Association Builders for Christ event will be either the first or second week of June. Place and work are not set but the team is looking for the place to engage. Teanative Cost $250.00 (Not incl Transportation) Exact cost will be determined after location is selected.
